Services
Guest Conducting
Sarah is available to serve as a guest conductor for honor orchestras, regional and all-county ensembles, summer music camps, and special collaborative performances. Guest conducting engagements focus on musical growth, rehearsal efficiency, and creating a positive and inspiring experience for student musicians.
Adjudication
With more than two decades of experience in the classroom and on the podium, Sarah provides thoughtful and constructive adjudication for orchestra festivals, concert performance assessments, and other types of adjudicated performance. Feedback focuses on both musical artistry and practical strategies that directors and students can apply in future rehearsals and performances.
Clinics and Program Visits
On-site clinics provide an opportunity for students and directors to receive focused instruction in rehearsal technique, ensemble performance, and musical interpretation. Clinics may include full orchestra rehearsals, rehearsal strategies, sectional coaching, or preparation for upcoming performances.
Director Mentorship
Encore Consulting offers mentorship opportunities for early-career orchestra teachers and music education students. Topics may include program building, rehearsal planning, repertoire selection, classroom management, program recruitment/retainment, and navigating the many challenges of the music education profession.
Speaking and Professional Development
Sarah is available for conference presentations, workshops, and professional development sessions for music educators and university music education programs. Sessions may focus on orchestra pedagogy, best practices for beginning teachers, and supporting student musicians at all levels.
Customized Engagements
Every music program is unique. Schools and organizations are encouraged to reach out to discuss customized clinics, collaborative performances, or special projects tailored to the needs of their students and directors.
Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. Let’s create something meaningful together.
